A month ago, we covered a hack known as “Frash” that allows users to run Flash on iPad. Now, folks at Grant Pannell has ported the hack to iPhone.

Originally, Frash is developed by comex, the iPhone developer behind Spirit and JailbreakMe. The name ‘Frash’ is an abbreviation for Adobe Flash for Android Runtime. Comex developed a compatibility layer to port Frash to Apple’s iOS. As claimed, Frash can run most Flash programs natively in Mobile Safari browser.

As of now, the Frash hack is still under testing. It is claimed to work on both iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. If you are adventurous and want to be an early adopter, you can check out Redmondpie for the installation guide. Otherwise, just check out the video after the break to see how Frash works.

Stay tuned. I will keep you updated about Frash and let you know once the hack is officially released.
