At first glance this iPad game might give you the impression that the 80′s have somehow returned, not that there’s anything wrong with that, some might even say the 80′s never left, but don’t be fooled by the 2D graphics because before you know it you’ll be hooked on Stick Golf HD.
Developed by Jordan Schidlowsky from Noodle Cake Games, Stick Golf HD is loads of fun with several unique levels to test your golf skills and accuracy. In total there are 8 different courses. Each of the 72 levels has it’s own set of obsticles which really make the game both challenging and fun.
All of the same rules of golf apply and of course the goal is to get the lowest score possible. Some courses can be deceiving because they look really simple but in fact they can be a bit tricky. Each time you complete a course either with even par or under par the next one is unlocked.
There are two levels of difficulty, easy with no wind and hard with wind. Another feature is the option to submit your high score to a global leaderboard, so get your golf swing in fine tune and work your way to the top!
Here’s a few in-game screen captures I took for you to see. This is what the scoreboard looks like. I took it before the first level started so as not to embarrass myself, but you get the point.

I would be silly not to give this game 5/5 stars. The simplistic design actually works to the games advantage in this case. Each level is very creative and you’ll see just how addictive this game is.
