In less than 60 days over 2 million iPads have been sold. Apple CEO Steve Jobs hasn’t disclosed how many iPads have been sold in which countries but you can bet the recent international launch played a big part in exceeding such a milestone so quick.
In a recent statement Steve Jobs mentioned:
“customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad, and seem to be loving it as much as we do”
He also went on to mention how much the company values customer patience while they work hard towards building enough iPads to meet the high global demand for the new device.
In related news the number of apps now available for the iPad is more than 200,000 and growing.
This July the iPad will become available in 9 more countries including other countries later in the year.
