The iPad sales hit million in late April. Today, Apple has just announced the sales of iPad have topped two million in less than two months since its launch on April 3. That means, Apple is now selling one million iPad a month.

“Customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad, and seem to be loving it as much as we do,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We appreciate their patience, and are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone.”

The popularity and demand of the iPad continues to surpass all expectations. Recently, the iPad was made available internationally and Apple began shipping in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK this past weekend. In coming July, the iPad will be released in nine more countries.

With the international rollout of iPad, Apple will soon announce another milestone. Have you bought the iPad?
